Stone

Stone has been widely used in the arts and architecture over the centuries, with a large assortment of applications in the construction of structural elements, ornaments and statues.
The degradation of stone elements has grown remarkably faster in recent times. In fact, the content in acid particles in rain and water vapour have hugely increased decaying processes in stone, e.g. marble sulphation, especially outdoor, and noxious accumulation of particulates indoor.
Serious damage also results from high levels of moisture and from frequent handling and removal of stone materials over time.

We cater for the conservation of stone and marble to stop degradation with the use of ultimate consolidation and cleaning methods.
We are also capable of bringing back to pristine conditions any marble marquetries and multicolour decorations.
