Stucco works in Como Cathedral

The northern transept houses the Chapel of the Crucified, whose conch is dominated by an imposing group of gilt wood sculptures depicting the Resurrected carved by Agostino Silva between 1666 and 1669.
Conservative restoration concerned the whole northern transept, including stucco coffers, gilt wood, the group of sculptures, and the wall linings made of Musso, Rosso d’Arzo, Nero Varenna marbles.
